Baumhower’s Victory Grille
In-Progress
This is a design-build project, with DDBC serving as the design-build contractor. The typical prototype design was evaluated and revised to accommodate BVG program changes and to account for current market building material costs. The project consists of ground-up construction with site work and utilities for a new building.
The building structure features a monolithic slab with exterior structural metal stud walls, wood roof trusses, TPO roofing, a brick wainscot, and EIFS walls with special scoring to mimic wood planks. The interior includes metal stud walls, FRP, subway tile, exposed ceilings in patron areas, acoustical ceilings in back-of-house areas, custom graphic wallpaper, aluminum storefront entry doors and windows, polished and dyed concrete floors in patron spaces, and resinous epoxy floors and base in back-of-house areas.
The interior also includes extensive custom millwork at the main bar and sales areas, with natural stone accents at the main bar. The dining patio converts to an “open-air” space through the use of overhead folding doors along the front and EZ-Fold doors along the sides. The kitchen equipment—including the walk-in cooler, oven with integral hood, and Ansul system—was installed by the construction team.
DDBC’s scope also includes FFE such as illuminated signage, TVs, an audio system, dining and patio furniture, a security system, a phone and computer system, and a point-of-sale system. The parking lot accommodates parking for more than 90 patrons and employees. Expected building turnover for owner training is anticipated in early Summer 2026.
