NHS Riverside – Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama

This is a ground-up new construction project with site work and utilities. The building structure features a monolithic slab with exterior wood stud walls, wood roof trusses, shingle roofing, brick veneer skin, and EIFS accent bands.

The interior consists of wood stud walls, gypsum and acoustical ceilings, graphic wallpaper, hard tile in bathroom areas, vinyl plank in bedroom areas, and decorative carpet tiles throughout the common areas. Decorative steel entry doors and windows, along with extensive millwork, complete the finishes.

This new skilled nursing facility contains 66 patient rooms with a total of 75 patient beds, two full nurses’ stations, dining and group activity areas on each side of the building, a full commercial kitchen, a large enclosed courtyard with landscaping, and full generator backup.

From groundbreaking to having the building ready for the first patients to occupy, the timeline was 13 months and 1 week.
